Happy Holidays!!! CC199 BVC08

I absolutely cannot believe that I haven't posted since the first of December! I was getting ready for the holidays and stayed a week behind it seemed. I will post more tomorrow, but did want to play the Color Challenge today- what great colors- So Saffron, Bravo Burgundy and Handsome Hunter. I didn't get to my December Bible Verse Challenge card, so created a two-for-one . Tomorrow I will make a few more and get them in the mail to my Bible Study gals and sweet friend Lisa.

This is one of our favorite verses and one that we try to follow every day.

I used the following supplies:

Stamps: Stampabilities Joshua 24:15; Paper: Handsome Hunter, So Saffron, Bravo Burgundy, MME DP; Ink: Handsome Hunter, Bravo Burgundy, So Saffron; Acessories: Burgundy Satin ribbon, Primas, Bazzil Brad, Ticket Corner and Scallop Edge punches, SU! Markers, Dimensionals;

I sure hope your Christmas was wonderful and wish everyone a very Happy New Year!

Blessings,

Diane

Scripture Boxes - His Word is Forever - Psalm 119:105 - LSC167

I am so excited! Monday I will be traveling to Columbia, TN for a day of stamping fun with 4 other stamp addict friends on Tuesday. Leisa Jane, Cleo, my great friend and demo Lisa and her mom will be there. My new friend Cleo has invited me to stay overnight at her home and we are going to have great fun together learning new techniques, eating good food and enjoying wonderful "girl talk." Each of us is bringing a project to share with the others and I have decided on these cute little Scripture boxes for our Bible Verse Challenge cards. I found this great template on Sharon's (no time to stamp) blog and will take supplies so everyone can make one. It's very easy to make and looks so pretty filled with the Bible Verse cards.
The scripture is Psalm 119:105:
"Thy Word is a Lamp unto my feet, and a Light unto my path."
Supplies I used:
Kraft, Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery, Kraft, Ruby Red, Very Vanilla cardstock; Basic Grey Urban Couture Designer Paper; Scallop, Circle and Ticket Corner Punches, Antique Brass hardware, Chocolate Chip inkpad for sponging around the DP edges.

Blessings,
Diane
